Piano transport – a delicate touch for your instrument

A piano or grand piano is not only heavy but also valuable and delicate. Transport requires specialist knowledge, the right equipment and a great deal of experience. Our trained staff transport your instrument safely – with special piano dollies, straps and protective material.

Whether a narrow stairwell or a high floor – if needed we use a furniture lift. Your instrument thus reaches its new place undamaged. For piano transport, trust experienced professionals rather than improvisation.

FAQ

Do you also transport grand pianos up narrow stairs?

Yes. If needed, we use a furniture lift to transport the grand piano safely via the facade.

An upright or grand piano is heavy, delicate and unwieldy. We transport it with special straps, padding and - if the stairwell is too narrow - with a furniture lift via the balcony or window.

FAQ

Do you also transport grand pianos, not just upright pianos?
Yes. Grand pianos are professionally placed on their side, secured and transported on a special trolley.
Is transport possible through a narrow stairwell?
Yes. If the staircase is too narrow, we use a furniture lift and move the instrument via the balcony or window.
Is my piano insured during transport?
Yes, your instrument is insured throughout the entire transport.
Does the piano need to be tuned after the move?
Usually yes - a piano should be retuned after transport and acclimatisation. Your piano tuner takes care of this.
